These beginner consultation appointments introduce the basics of food and wine in a simple, friendly way. You will learn fundamental wine styles (red, white, sparkling), basic tasting skills, and how flavors work. The consultation also covers easy food-and-wine pairing principles, common grape varieties, and how ingredients like salt, fat, and spice affect taste. No prior knowledge is required—just curiosity and a willingness to taste and learn.
Hosting a wine tasting is a guided, social experience where guests sample and compare different wines in a relaxed setting. We will introduce each wine, explains basic tasting steps, and encourages discussion about aromas, flavors, and pairings. It’s an enjoyable way to learn about wine while bringing people together to explore and share their preferences
Experience personalized tours and tastings with the Boone Voyage and Vino. These experiences will showcase many of both Texas and California’s best kept secrets for wine selections. Pricing includes tasting fees. Travel accommodations are separate and excluded from the consultation services.
